Does anybody know if you are in contract with a ISP for a leased line and if they get bought out by another organisation can you terminated your contract or give notice. I am waiting to receive the Ts and C's but just wondering if anybody knows.
Probably not. Almost certainly, their T&C will allow them to assign your contract to another party. Also, the company is probably still in existence and only ownership has changed.
Best thing to do is to ask them directly and they should be able to answer all your questions. Most likely they would like to keep you as an existing customer. But I think you have an option if you wish to terminate your contract with them. So just ask them directly.
Hi, Best advice is to check your SLA and ask the question. A lot will depend on how long you have left on your contract. If the reason for wanting to leave is down to service there may be grounds to leave but again SLA will dictate this.
