Does any of you here use Moonfruit to do your website?

What is it like

Hi, I've never tried it personally but I thought it was supposed to be geared towards home/personal sites rather than business sites since it doesn't allow much space?

There's a difference too between the paid version and the free version, the latter being that you have adverts on it amongst other things I'm sure.

Edit: Just took a look at their website and they do now include alot more space and the paid for versions features look pretty meaty

If you're a business and need an online presence i'd suggest getting your website done professionally. Something I may be able to help with?

On the other hand if you would like to be in complete control of your website, then a CMS (Content Management System) would be a good idea for you to look into.

I used SiteMaker to do our site, although the free site is basic it suits our needs and is very search engine friendly.

wow, didn't realise it would contain all them adverts, very off putting, without those adverts that would look very nice

Yeah I was thinking of upgrading to the paid version which removes the ads but we do really well at the moment in terms of traffic, I'm not sure removing the ads would make any difference.

looking at the cost of upgrading its certinly worth doing unless you make cash from the adverts??

if you do then these referals may pay for the upgrade

Google has your title as 'Quality Fireplace Fitting Services'
Your site has it as "Dorset Fireplace Fitter"
But it actually displays "Quality fireplace fitting services, fireplace fitting services in Dorset, Dorset fireplace......" which isn't actually in the code of your page as far as I can see.

You could just play around with FrontPage and DIY? That’s what I do.

Get it done right if it's an important part of your business - if its not, cheap and cheerful or don't even bother
