Telecom service providers....who really has any good relationship with theirs....i'm talking roaming charges here. I like the idea costumer loosing the 'fear' of using their device abroad. I think this fear has started to become an issue with business organisations, as CFO's look at ways to cut costs, i know mine has. This will certainly not benefit any mobile network operator. let usage equals less revenue...you do the maths. So what is vodafone going on about...

I actually use Vodafone as my main mobile provider. I've a number of 3G enabled devices and make use of the Vodafone Passport service. It costs £2 a day for 25MB of data. That's usually enough to keep my emails connected with a little bit of Google Maps if necessary.

It's the calls that really sting though - 75p each(!) plus the normal network rate.
