Hi all,
I am fairly new to the mobile car valeting business, currently providing a basic in & out car cleaning service priced close to supermarket car washes plus a ~delivery fee~
I would like to know please:
1) what do you guys do or recommend for rainy days as they are accounting for close to one third of the days of the year. Would it be a pop up tent, van with awning fitted or just reschedule the bookings for those days?
2) how do customer usually react if you tell them you'll have to reschedule due to bad weather.
3) as the pop up tent is the most accessible as price, Which brand would you guys recommend and how long it takes to pop it up by myself?

Thank you

If you have to re-schedule due to bad weather, some months you would be not working 70% of the time. You'd be better off just doing it over summer months.

As a customer, I wouldn't be able to book you if you only work in good weather because I would have planned for the job to be done on the given day and if you called me having to re-schedule I would politely say leave it because it could quickly become 2,3 or 4 re-schedules before we get the right weather.
