Microsoft Office Accounting with Tax Inclusive pricing

Hi!

I have the MOA trial version and all seems pretty good. Except one big thing: All my goods prices include VAT by default (I own a retail shop) so when I add a stock and enter the sales price I mean it to be VAT inclusive. MOA wants to add the specified VAT rate onto the goods. Unless I can change this then the software is useless to me because I can't be working out the price before tax for every product I add.

Cheers!

Hmm. I found it now under purchase invoices. However, I need that option for Invopices/Quotes/Sales Orders. When I invoice my clients I want the VAT to be already included in the Sales Price. Is this not possible? This seems really strange.

Is that the only way then do you think?

I know when I bulk add the products to start the stock inventory it will be easy because I can just do a formula on the prices I'll be importing from excel files.

My main annoyance is that I'll be adding prices on the fly (whilst serving customers) and don't want the added time of having to work out the exc. vat price every time.

Hmm... I'll have to decide whether I would be happy with this setback for ease of integration you get with MS software.

Thanks for your help!
