We have built an app for finding the ranking of a site across 4 search engines with any set of key words. I has occoured to me though that these data are not comparable;
for example 'web design northwich' is not as competative as 'web design cheshire'. further more the number of hits varies from engine to engine, so am I doing better on Google, or Yahoo.
I have had a go at putting some factors together for the tool, and a freind of mine said that there is no ind. std. for this - is there anything commonly used like this or is this really somthing new? and if so is it useful?
