hey guys,

i've just launched an online business and i'm currently using google checkout. I have been accepted for RBS worldpay, however its not activated yet.

Basically i'm generating a few orders here and there from Adwords. Do you think having worldpay will increase my orders by much as it dosnt seem to be converting very well at the moment.

Any advice/tips would be great. thanks

Don't worry about Worldpay. Get your marketing right first!

Sure Google Checkout might drop your conversion rate a little bit but not by a significant amount. Look at your Adwords carefully. Anything that doesn't give a great return, cut it from your campaign.

Concentrate on organic traffic. It takes longer but it is not as hard as you might think.

What is your business?

I think that you should be more concerned on generating relevant traffic and ensuring the user journey is as smooth as possible. Creating a feeling of want and desire in your customer will help you get that sale. The choice in payment is something that someone decides after they've decided they want something.

Google Checkout is a good system, but you will be likely to get less charge backs through World Pay even though the system is more expensive to setup.

Getting more traffic to your website through the organic route is much better for the long term. If you need help with this please let me know.
