Hi

I’m a mature student studying an NHS sponsored health course at Uni. I’ve spotted a gap which is more like a great canyon in the market. It’s nothing new, it’s just a service which is very much in demand. Due to NHS cost cutting, redundancies, etc. etc. they cannot fulfil this service. So there are 1,000’s clamouring for it and even willing to pay but it’s simply not there, only in a very small way.

So the idea is to provide this service inexpensively. The beauty is this a service which needs no selling and there is no stock. Obviously there will be some marketing and PR. I’m looking to a put a team of health professionals and business professionals together, form a company and then look for finance from an angel.

I am a frustrated entrepreneur and I ‘ve almost made it before. First time I was 27, I ran a mailorder business from my bedroom, just had a phone and a pc took it from £0 to £750000 turnover in 6 months, sold it and it’s still going 10 years later.. Another time I had a stop smoking business again in 6 months went from £0 to £2000 week in earnings.

My strengths lie in spotting an opportunity and running with it, taking action and lateral thinking, I’m highly motivated and work 24/7 if need be. I also provide a quality service with a satisfaction guarantee. My weakness in the past has been with the admin and the finance side. Consequently I got into debt and now have a poor credit history. I’m or rather the company would not be looking to borrow money from team members only from an outside investor. It doesn’t even need that much to start. Essentially, rent for the premises and PR and some basic equipment.

Any interest or feedback?

In what way is that 'almost made it'?!

Can't offer much advice on here, but I'm sure someone will shortly.
