Hello everyone

My partner and i are considering opening a meal delivery service and/or catering company that would deliver healthy, nutritious and delicious meals to people's houses and/or places of work. We are knowledgeable on the food front and i think i can handle marketing etc. BUT the bureaucracy and misc. is another matter.

So to get to the point. If we were to start a company where we prepare meals in our home before delivering to people's home, a bit like meals and wheels for the rest of us, what elements do i have to consider aside from the actual food itself?

We're not looking for advice on the viability of the idea as that is a matter for us to investigate but we would be very interested indeed on getting expert opinion on what we need to consider when starting such an endeavour?

So far we have:
- registering as a business
- getting level 2 certificate in food prep
- registering with the local council
- insurance

Is there anything legal or not strictly to do with the food prep, delivery and marketing that we need to consider?

Thank you for your time in reading this and we look forward to any input.
