The key is to treat them like any other networking event. Find the right ones for your industry, set up a proper profile, and actually engage with people instead of just promoting yourself. Nobody likes someone who only shows up to sell.
It also helps to read the room. Every forum has its own vibe and rules, so take a bit of time to get familiar with them before diving in. And consistency is everything. You wouldn’t go to one networking event and expect instant results, and it’s the same online.
