I am doing a market research into what people think and write on the internet .I would like to see what people would write on the internet to search for a service.

Who would you search for ?

Telephone extension required
Noise on the telephone line
You have been advised of charges by your service provider for a call out charge if the telephone fault is in your home.

Please tell me exactly what you would put in the search engines or have used, this will help me understand what people are looking for and i then can use this information on my website, thank you all

My husband would just go to the local DIY store and do it himself. If I were on my own, I would just ask my phone provider.

But if I were to guess at what I would type in:
Phone extension
Noisy phone line, or crackling noises on phone
Call charges home phone fault.

I have just started up a telephone business provideing these services.
When i type in key words my competitors websites show up.
I know they use tags ect but if your service provider is cable and wireless
would you look for a Bt engineer to work on a cable and wireless extension.

When i worked for a large telephone company and was called out to a customers house. I would phone a head and ask if they had checked the
telephone socket.

On this occasion the customer was an electrician and told me that he paid line rental and wanted me to check the line, which i did but then i had to tell him the fault was inside the house and he had to pay £120 call out and £100 for the hour plus vat. Tested the line only

As much as i tried to help people not get ripped off.
I give free telephone advice in my business and build trust.

HI

I would not use a BT Engineer if I was using cable and Wireless. I would probably call a local electrician, or call my provider and ask.

If you have and know how to use HTML editors, and probably even if you don't, you can look at their keywords by viewing the page source. That will tell you what keywords they are including.

A more established competitor will always show up in the rankings when you use the same keywords. You could try adding the key words free advice and putting a section in your web page, to highlight the service.

add mispelt words, fone, phne, noyze, noize, sokits, tellyfone, advice. avise, adviz, etc.

There are lots of good web people on here who will give you some good advice I expect when they come online.
