Does anyone know of the best program for large mailshots. The company in this case has 72,000 contacts and uses mail manager but was wondering if mailchimp is any better. Not my area of expertise so I would be interested in your feedback

Hi Fraser

Mailchimp is great - it complies with all ICO and other legislation that you should be following with email marketing. It provides great reporting and feedback on your campaigns and is really easy to use. A fantastic one stop shop for email marketing.

We like it so much, we integrated it into our CMS offering!

I'm not familiar with Mail Manager - why are you thinking of changing?

Mail chimp is good but if your sending over 50k per month i would look elswhere, also they're inbox preview tool cost $9 every time you use it, and they're servers are generally grey listed, also when sending large volumes mail chimp tends to get a bit expensive, ive got a friend who works at pure360 and i usually refer people to him i use theyre system and its great-they actually call you out of the blue as well to offer advice remotly regarding your campaigns if you want me to get him to call you message me i could probably get you a discount

Inbox Inspector from MailChimp is free for monthly subscribers.
