Any idea of where I could get hold of a list of, say, small businesses (with contact names) in my local area (Merseyside).

Any idea how much this costs ?

be careful you can spend alot of money on rubbish dat or could spen a little on really good data

I would be very careful have tried a couple of companies and one of them sold my "unique" list to others in my business, and it wasnt cheap either. Why not try Yell. com and build up your own database. Personal contacts even by phone are much better than bad leads

I agree, the money you could potentially spend on data weighed up against spending some time on targeted telemarketing!

in all honesty a day with your head in the yellow pages is the best place to source data for free and its passed your checking too!

give them a call to ask who is responsible for...may i get their email adress details...? etc...."

its a tried and tested approach!
