Mailing list

I am currently running a mailing list and I would like to upgrade to use a mailing service. Who would you recommend? I have used The Autoresponder at http://www.the-autoresponder.co.uk/ in the past but they are currently not accepting new customers. I would like recipients of the mailing list to be able to add/remove themselves on the web site.

We use a company called Vertical Response. Very flexible email system, and great support if you need it.

Vertical Response appear to be an American operation. I would prefer UK.

Hi Mike,

Yes, they are American. Another reputable company that we have come across is MailChimp, again American though.

We have had no problems with them since we started to use them. Initially we were looking for UK based companys, and found autoresponder, but their response to queries was shocking!
