Mail forwarding service

Hi

I'm looking for a London based mail forwarding services that is dependable & trustworthy (important) and good value for money.

Jist of it. I have a ltd company that is based from home (registered using a company formation service), I cannot have my home address on the website and the company formation service is very expensive with mail forwarding (£60 per quarter).

Looking for a mail forwarding only service for circa £100-£130 p.a.

Any suggestions?

Assuming you use an accountant either regularly or just at key times each year, they will likely be able to provide you with a mailing address, which is something many accountants offer these days.

Companies like Citibase typically charge £60/month+ for address only, which is out of your budget, so perhaps you can ask other businesses you know if you could use their address for a fee? I did that in the past, some friends having a shop with a 30-34 Blahblah Street address, which looked good for my home-based business.

I think you will find it hard to get a mailbox for this price annually.

The legitimate companies will carry insurance and other expenses to help offset any problems they may have with customers using the service for nefarious reasons (e.g. receiving illegal items or fraud), which can then have the address "black listed".

When I did the secretarial service, I looked into offering this service but with all the paperwork and agreements (including allowing police to come and inspect things at random) that was involved, it became obvious quite quickly that unless I was to do this on a large scale it simply wouldn't be worth it.
