Hi

I run a graphic design business from home. I'm looking at getting a registered address that so I don't have to keep using my home address.

It needs to be in my town, which is Solihull (near Birmingham)
is there a way of finding a list of companies that offer a registered address with mail forwarding, preferably they will have meeting rooms to rent as well. Obviously I've googled 'registered address', 'mail forwarding', 'virtual office', 'shared office' for my area but the only one I have found is Regus (they have many offices around the UK). I found them a little expensive, considering I could get a popular London address for half the price.

Any ideas on finding who else would do this in my area?

Thanks in advance.

get one of your mates to let you use his postal address for a while. Get some mail diverted or sent to that address preferably a bill. Go to royal mail and set up a redirect on all mail going to that address which has your company name on it. Pay a small quarterly fee to the royal mail and there you have it ;-) Might not be what you're looking for but worth a thought.

Thanks for the replay. My main reason for wanting to do this is that I work with and target medium sized businesses. I'd feel better with a pucka business address. For instance, Regus offer: My business address, Centre Boulevard, Blythe Valley Business Park.....

I am happy to pay the going rate for this, I'd just like to check out Regus's competition in Solihull as they seem expensive compared other sites I have checked out.

Is there a Mail Box Etc near you?

If so make sure you get a personal one as if you are a business (have business name on the address it costs double).

Regus are not a little expensive they are MEGA expensive! lol

We do mail forwarding in London and Northampton (including registered office) if that helps?

Thanks for the reply, but is needs to be in Solihull.

Could you recommend a way to find out what companies offer this service in Solihull. I've been trying for about a week now. Can't find anything on Google, apart from Regus. I've phoned business link (useless) and even tried the local council for advice. Still no luck.

Maybe I'm searching for the wrong things? I've tried:
Registered business address
Virtual office
Serviced office
mail forwarding
telephone answering

I would imagine there has to be at least a few places locally who offer these services?

As Paresh said, Mailboxes would probably be your best bet (above)

http://www.easyoffices.com/serviced-offices/uk/Solihull - they may do mail forwarding.

Hope that helps.
