mail delivery problems to hotmail

Anyone else have problems delivering to hotmail and outlook.com?

They have their own database for blacklists by the look of it because i cannot find my IP on any. Complete carp!

thanks for posting, very useful.
using that link my ip is on "lookup.dnsbl.iip.lu" but that doesnt appear to be active (or at least working other than the default wordpress installation). I have emailed the microsoft team to see if they can do anything.

It may be entirely unrelated but my Microsoft 365 has been getting very tough on junk. I now have to check the junk box because it is picking up good mail. I'm fairly sure that it is 365 doing it, not Outlook, because no amount of telling Outlook to add senders to safeel list helps.

Hotmail causes me similar problems. I ended up moving outbound mail servers as Hotmail/Outlook will unwilling to override the automatic filters.

Hi,
I find the SPF and DKIM records are very important when delivering mail to hotmail.com

Make sure those are set up correctly for your domain, you can check them on mxtoolbox too.

This^ one of our clients had real difficultly sending to icloud accounts before we set up these records and everything was fine.
