Magento Training

Hi Guys

I wasn't sure if this was the correct place to post this thread or not.

We are having a new website built in Magento and wanted to ask if anyone knows any local companies or individuals based in the North West who would be able to provide Magento training either on a 1-1 or 1-2 basis to look after and manage a Magento store?

I'm not sure about companies that can train you but as Magento is an open source solution you can buy training manuals that detail everything you need to know.

We have had a look at the online training available but would prefer someone to come in and show us one to one so that we can learn it more quickly.

I am surprised that the web development firm that built you the website does not offer training, is this something you have considered?

They verbally agreed to offer the training free at the start but now they are demanding riddiculous amounts of money.
