Magento & PrestaShop

We work with both Magento and PrestaShop and find them both pretty simple to install, template, theme and adapt; however we are aware that many others find the lack of documentation a real pain.

This is something that we have decided to try and address and would appreciate if you could give some feedback on what it is about either that you struggle with.

Please try to be as specific as possible about your particular problem.

If everything goes according to plan we should be able to put together a FAQ linked to video tutorials which others may find useful in the near future.

Hi Mobyme

Im using Prestshop for my first ecommerce site and whilst its easy to build I find it lacks some functionality. The main "PITA" aspect for me is that its very difficult to add products that you dont directly sell - such as affiliate products etc. If you can document/ show how this can be done then it would certainly help me

Perhaps this is in the wrong forum as most of the people here will already be up and running with their e-commerce sites.
In which case; can I ask those who considered using Magento or Prestashop and didn't, what it was that put them off.

I choose magento . But if I need a eshop myself. I will choose wordpress.
