Magento Discounting Products

Hello,

New to Magento community.

Can you help

Say I have product A in 5 different sizes. Each size is a different price


I want to discount Product A by 20% and all its sizes so it shows that they are discounted with the line cross.


However it seems on that product it only seems to allow you to discount it via GBP and so will only discount the base price product.

Can anyone help me discount Product A and all its sizes by 20% time effectively

Basic Magento functionality can create such discount (it will be able to use, if you create configurable products).

Unless we have missed something I am shocked that it is not possible to add percentage discount on configurable products in magento.

i have searched and can find nothing.

Any other help would be great to how we can discount a configurable product by percentage and not Currency
