Magenta Multi Store Question

I've read a lot of Google about this but it's not 100% clear.

I have Website A for retail and Website B for trade. They are set up as two separate websites on different domains which means the content is duplicated.

What I want really is www.websitea.com/trade which goes to a different store view with a different product categories etc but it's essentially the same website and same products using customer group pricing.

Is this possible with a new "store". If so how do I get the store to be www.websitea.com/trade

It's easy to make it a completely different domain but I want to avoid the differing domains, I just want different categories and hidden/different pricing for customer groups.

-- Edit -- Mac changed Magento to Magenta in title.. obviously I mean Magento.

Yes pretty much.

At the minute I have two completely separate stores, it works fine, but I share a lot of the products so they now come up in Google twice and can obviously cause issues with duplicate content etc. I thought it'd be easier to keep it to one site with separate pricing.

The annoying part is I need a different category structure for the trade side hence why I can't just change the prices with a log in...

What I've done is have a trade section on our website, which is just a category (with some sub-categories). Customers have to have a log in for a specific customer group (set up for each trade customer). So when they log in as a trade customer, they see discounted prices (by having a group price for that customer group) for each relevant product.

As well as that, due to needs, a separate trade website is also being set up that will use the same root category, but will be a different "website" in Magento.

It is definitely possible. Moreover - it's easy.
I need one week to make different store view with a different product categories etc within the same website and same products using customer group pricing.
I have strong experience with Magento for the last 4 years.
and offer a full portfolio of modules and services for online stores.

If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
