Mac or Windows?

I do a free neighbours tech support service as a hobby but since most of them have now upgraded to windows 7 (new PCs too) I don't get called anymore. Windows 7 mostly 'just works' too - so long as the hardware has enough grunt.

Yeah I agree, and this was the point I made at the start of this thread. Windows 7 ain't a bad OS, and if you use it on decent hardware, Aero does a fairly decent job of making it look nice too.

True. Ubuntu isn't that widely used though. I don't know that much about it though I have used it a few times. I thought that its a little hard to find drivers for some pieces of hardware with Ubuntu. I know this is the same with other operating systems but just thought I'd mentioned it.
