Hello

I am about to open up my first high street shop next week and have got all major details sorted for this and i am currently looking into setting up a loyalty xmas scheme/club for my shop.

I have set up credit card terminals with barclay card and and i am wondering if anyone else does anythink like this using there terminals, basically using cards instead of simple things like stamps etc

Hi there, I have recently opened a shop in my local town and my husband keeps suggesting a loalty scheme but I'm not sure. Would be interested in what you find out. Certainly using the card machine would seem to be a simply solution if it works. I'll keep my eye on the posts. Thanks CWB

I started writing s similar system for a company a few years ago but they loist interest.

It works basically by means of BarCode scanner. Each card automatically opens an account on the system and then each time its scanned, it adds points to the account.

This can be integrated into a statements system, either sending statements by Email or Post. It can also integrate into a Newsletter Mailing List system for added marketing and can support customer login over the internet.

I can be setup to add an automcatic amount of points per transaction or to be transaction amount dependant (so £xx = xx points).

I can also be used to cash the points in to print/Email out a voucher, resetting the points when this happens. Each voucher would have a unique check number which can then be cross checked with the system.

Its easy to get the cards personalised, I know of a few companies that do these cards a good prices.

Let me if your interested in helping me finish this development off as I think it could be a great product to finish!

I have dug out the software and Ive not really got that much to get done to get it complete - really just need to make it look nicer!.

The beauty of this system is, no annual or monthly fees, runs on your systems and it can very easily be tweaked to match your needs!

Drop me a line and we can discuss the possibilities. :)

Yeah i mistyped on here as my username but everythink from my website to my business name has been spelt toysandstationery the correct way.

Many Thanks for all the answers on here i am certainly going to look into this as i have already been asked for this a christmas club would be perfect for me as selling toys and people saving for christmas fits perfectly.

A Supplier has already offered me free catalogue of 50 pages of new toys with my logo on it and this would fit perfectly as a saving card scheme.

I spoke to barclaycard today about a pre paid card service which can be used as a loyalty scheme xmas club type of thing but the cost is high to set up min 1000 cards at £2,500 ,

does anyone know of any company that could do this at a cheaper rate using barclaycard terminals, for the same thing as that seems high to me.
