Whilst doing last years account, I had misplaced a receipt for some equipment. I have since found it, so I was wondering if there's a way of offsetting it against this years account instead. The receipt was dated 30th March, so only just before year end and was paid for using a personal credit card.

If anyone could help, it will be much appreciated.

If its not a huge amount I'd simply add it in this years accounts.

If you paid for it on a personal credit card, when did you reimburse yourself for the purchase? If it was this year, you'd have even less of a problem (if there even was going to be one) as the money wouldn't have left the business until this year.
