I have generated leads for companies in the past, and worked on a cost per unique lead only basis. Depending on the value of the product I charged between £12 - £120 per lead.
I work by creating a site which details what the client offers and also contains a form to capture the customers details. I send all leads on to the client and bill them each month for the amount of leads generated. What everyone else is offering you with these up front payments and see how it goes theories seem a bit ridiculous to me
