looking for wholesale clothing

Hi, have just joined this site & have been scouring the internet to find good reliable wholesalers for clothing (ladies,mens & kids and preferably grade A) as trying to set up a clothes shop here in corfu that will be selling clothes by the kilo. Am looking for uk branded items, i.e ex highstreet, ex catalogue etc but these seem to be rather expensive per unit & by the time i have paid for shipping will be unable to sell them per kilo. Has anybody got any other ideas. Have been to thetrader.uk & most other websites so hoping someone will know some-one!!

I don't mind as long as it is for the uk market. Quality of clothing is not very great here and any shops that set-up here selling uk clothing go down very well. We also have an influx of chinese shops selling clothes from china but not English quality so not really looking for anything other than for UK high streets/ catologue etc

I personally find good stocks(such as Forever 21, Givova) for companies based in LA. And the business went well. Maybe you can try this way.

You can also get the apparels from other country. You can exports the clothing from other country with cheap rates and better quality. I suggest to search for that there are many clothing suppliers available in the world who can give you the better and convenient offer. The business of wholesale clothing is now growing speedy. Many online wholesale stores are available who will give you the better offers what i got.

Today many countries are doing the export clothing with the low rates because there is the big competition in this business. Xinyonghu China is also good. I ordered some Mens tshirts yesterday and had them delivered today - great quality and value for money! also free delivery in the uk which is always a bonus but they probably charge extra for international delivery

they mostly do accessories, socks, baby items and menswear, so a bit of everything, ive even seen some handbags and fancy dress on there too...

We are a clothes wholesaler in China. Personally I don't think British have high requirments on clothes quality. HM has terrible quality, same quality with Primark, but prices are much higher than Primark. Zara, quality just a bit better, but double pirce than HM.

We mainly sell high-street fashion clothes on EBAY etc. This summer , I saw a same lace top (I was selling it on EBAY) in one shop London, the price was 25 pounds. I had a talk wth the shop boss and he told me he sourced it at about 9 pounds. My price on EBAY was between 9-25 pounds includes postage. According to his souced price, his supplier (bulk) can earn 3 pounds per piece at least.

There were many e-commerce groupes in Greater London and I had been there for times while I was living in Nottingham. Some sellers souced goods from one UK wholesale (small quantity)website like Alibaba, but forget the exact name of this website Sorry. The webste had lots of trading companies' ADs which links to their official company websites directly. So after checking the prices on their own website, I must say that these trading companies have decent profits.

From what I'v learned, there are a lot of fashion trading companies located in Manchester. Maybe you can find some contacts in this area.

If you want to souce from China, we may offer some helps.

I would suggest you look at Bangladesh, labour costs are around 20% to 30% of those in China now and some Chinese factories now bid for work and outsource it to Bangladesh! Just as we use Indian call centres chines manufacturers are now bidding for work and using foreign labour.

You might as well go straight to Bangladesh, they will be able to crush any Chinese or Indian pricing as labour is 20% to 30% of the cost

Bangladesh or India are cheaper but mostly big quantity orders can be taken.

I don't think suppliers in both countries can accept small orders like 1-10 pieces per order.
