Looking for sock manufacturer

Hello All-

I am a new clothing start-up looking for a men's business sock manufacturer. My challenge has been finding someone who will produce smaller quantities (200-500 pairs, not 1000 dozen) since I don't have a large budget. I found one manufacturer so far who said they would do this, but they haven't really been working out (poor communications, last minute fees, etc). Can anyone help me??

I looked at Alibaba, but it was new to me then and I wasn't sure how reliable it was. I guess dealing with overseas companies without a domestic rep was a little intimidating when I first started out. I'm getting used to the idea now, especially since that's where the best pricing is.

I'm open to working with anyone who is professional, knows how to set realistic expectations with me, and most of all delivers on those expectations.

Hi there, My company is exporting and sourcing from China into the UK, we take care of all the paper work to get the shipment straight to your business door so that you don't have to worry about customs clearance, my company is also not registered for VAT. So that 0% VAT. We can deal with smaller orders and use UPS/DHL for fast shipment. Or for the lowest cost shipment price. Tobots members share the cost of /FCL/LCL by boat.

Tobots was registered nearly 3 years ago although the company has only
started to operate late this year due to getting to grips with operating a western company from within China and building a lot of infrastructure within EU county's for the next stage of Tobots CtoC online shop.

Suggest searching on Esources and looking for UK manufacturers (try here) - you will probably have to pay up and join to get contact details and to be able to enquire via the site. Or search business directories for hosiery companies in towns in Leicestershire, which seems to be the centre of the sock-making world; in the UK at least.
