She can't use the phone. Which will make life very difficult if buyers want to talk to her.

Hmmm, I appreciate that but this is an objection not a reason. Business is always about delegation if you have no access to direct employees, friends etc then outsourcing is always an option.

Being reliant on emails / letters alone relinquishes every aspect of control.

She has a thread in the full members forum where this is discussed. She relies totally on email/letters and just has a telephone answering service during office hours.
