So, what would be the best way to look for guest posts in your opinion?

In my case, I've managed to build authorship and regular contributions to a decent chunk of healthy websites and I'm looking for ways to reach new webmasters and new relations. I've tried some facebook groups but those turned out full of sh**...

If anybody has good ideas or is interested in a healthy blogger relation I would be more than happy!

If you are blogger and accepting guest posts then the best way to look for guest posts is the uniqueness and quality content of the guest post. Length of the post doesn't matter but the topic on which the guest post has written should match with the information. If content is good then chances of increase in blog traffic is definitely.

Length does matter in some cases. It is good for a blog post to cover a topic from as many angles as possible, therefore growing longer, but informative.
I agree with the uniqueness part.

The best way to write something is to say something... Thanks..

I often have emails from people asking if they can post a guest blog on X subject on one of my blogs
Ian, what verticals are you covering? Do you have these blogs for spam purposes or are you doing conscientious content? I run a social media community of over 311 000 for various home & garden posts. Peculiar what you got. :)

I write a blog about the exciting subject of factoring :D

It is a blog for me to give my personal views on the industry and aspects of it that I am not happy with.

It is well read within the industry as I make public things that others aren't happy with either but can't comment publically as they are employed within the industry whereas I don't care who I upset (as long as I am telling the truth) as they need me more that I need them.

You can decide for yourself if my content is conscientious or spammy http://factoringblog.co.uk/

Unfortunately, not something I'm good at, but still thank you for the reply @Ian J ! :)

I'm generally looking for anything within the home, gardening, interior & property scope +/-
What I can offer all interested is: content, traffic and even guest post swaps from one of the blogs I maintain.

If there is anybody who's open to such new healthy relations - do tell! :)

If you can't get free backlink from them, you can pay for that links!
I have an idea like that: If the owner of the websites that you want to guest post at are still guest posting at the other websites, you can ask them how about you send them free content and just insert one backlink point to your site :D
