Hi all,

I'm currently on the hunt for a pop-up banner to be used at an event I am running in April. I need it to be printed with my own design.

I use Total merchandise for most of my event products, however I don't want to get complacent and just stick with this company as my go to, especially when there may be others that use suppliers of equal quality and hopefully that are lower in price.

If anyone has any recommendations for any reputable organisations for such things, I would really appreciate it.

many thanks in advance.

James

For client work we mostly use

You need to have print ready artwork and probably need to apply for some as they are trade only but the quality has been solid with them.

Thanks Darren

I really appreciate your quick response. I will take a look at these and see how I get on.

Thanks again.

I used to use Vistaprint, not sure what the score is with them re Brexit.
Vistaprint and one of the commercial batch printer quality is worlds apart, they have their place and I bought metallic signs for a client late last year from them that worked a treat but on most stuff I would tend to avoid.

Although if someone is unable to produce their own print ready artwork, they are a solid choice.

I used my own artwork, and I can't say it was a problem. I've also used them for various other wall banners.

I don't know about banners, but on litho printing vista is very good quality

The problems arise from customers' own design and setting, and paper quality at the cheaper end

Bound to be a local banner printer in your area, use it or lose it
Working for a local printed myself I love your spirit to buy local but unfortunately the issue is, nobody wants to pay the prices anymore. We charge out a quality roller banner at £70. Why would you pay that when the likes of Route1 sell them for £27. It is a sad state of affairs.

This is why we chose to diversify into Ecommerce Fulfilment about 7 years ago and just keep the print side of the business ticking over.
