Looking for Ad Serving Software

Google DFP are taking ages to get back to me and I need a solution ASAP so looking for software that gives me the ability to add rotating banners to my forum under the sub forums as well as at the top of the page. No need for Google Adwords, just some software that serves ads randomly and ideally gives me some stats on what's being shown.

Someone recomended OpenX but don't really know much about it. The forum software I'm using is vBulletin 4. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thank you :)

I'm not clear on exactly what you want.

Do you want a replacement for Google Adsense? In other words do you want to just put in a little bit of code and have the third party fill it in with ads then send you a cheque every month?

OR

Do you want to sell/input your own banners and just need a system that displays a random one and gives you statistics on how many times it was shown/clicked etc?

For option 1 there are quite a few. Places like Kontera, Yahoo Publisher Network, AdBrite, Clicksor etc.

For option 2 then I agree with OpenX. It is a really nice bit of software that will give you full control over the ads you show. You can run Adsense through it alongside your own banners if you want to, geo-target certain banners, set different weights to different campaigns.. loads of stuff.

Sorry I wasn't very clear!

I have paid advertisers so just want to display those in a rotating fashion on the home page of the forum. Not fussed on AdSense at present.

OpenX looks like the main alternative to DFP but I have heard they have had some security issues and bugs which concerns me. Has anyone heard similar things or have any experience with the software? Is the installation fairly pain free?

Thanks.
