    hi, i recentely had a basic website with most of the fuctions to keep it up and running. The security of the site wasnt too good and i have had my site suspened indefinantely by the hosting company.

    I need a reasonable price for a bridal eccomerce website to be developed. Actually fairly cheap.

    I want the site to look and feel professional.

    Can you also recoomend me a good hosting company also.

    Hi maz25, I've used UK Web Hosting for previous projects and they are very good (http://ukwebsolutionsdirect.co.uk/) - great support and low downtime. I've also sent you a PM.

I only mention the bigger projects as its good/wise to partner with a company or individual whose expertise exceed your immediate needs.

    You really do get what you pay for, both in terms of build, design quality and polish, back end CMS functionality (or lack thereof) and that is before taking into account how much of your budget is going to go towards building good strong solid foundations for Google as far as search engine optimisation goes.     Hi everyone thank you for your positive response also quick response.
    Altough my previous website was quite basic, I had alot of features such as online chat, Skype and MSN link

    i want a bespoke site, easy to manage.

    Features may include zoom fucntion on images. Colour and size form, quite a complex system.

    recentely viewed items. Coupon or voucher codes etc etc.

    Sounds fairly standard. Installing a free third party chat application, including time taken to read the installation/development kit, could be as much as an hours work, depending. There is far more to discuss, though.

    Our web designs are hideously easy to manage using our CMS system. Custom and bespoke from the back end up, we dont use a third party templating system like joomla or wordpress, either :)

    The best way forwards is to establish a relationship with a few people from this forum, and have a proper chat on the phone fella.     Whether you use my message or not, you should seriously consider magento (www.magentocommerce.com) have a look at it's features / demo's etc. Has all these features and more.
