Hi,

JUst wondering if anyone can recommend an printers. Looking for business cards, white card litho printing.

Have asked five separate printers across two business forums for samples and nothing.

LOL.. Maybe they are too busy looking after paying customers.. rather than "sample merchants".

:D:D

You may be happy with the shinny sh*te laminated floppy digitally printed card that seems to be what some printers palm off as quality business cards.

I am not, so I want someone with a marginal amount of intelligence to be able to insert into a envelope a couple...or may be three examples of card that is used with the different finishes they apply.

I don't think that is too much to ask :)

Why would I want to pay for samples!!!!

This is why i am questioning some not all...intelligence!!

When on a print run, it doesn't cost substantially more to print 501 instead of 500....there's the sample.

Maybe I have not been clear enough I have no interest in artwork...I am just interested in quality of work, card and finishes.

No worries thanks for all the interest. Have recevieved a PM and one offering help on here... :)

Maybe off topic.. what happens to business cards that are given out!!

I know that I scan them ( those that I deem worthwhile to make a note of).. and then bin them. so.. every card does get binned.

The quality does nothing for me. Its the info thats important.

Maybe its just me!

I am sure you are right, but being that quality doesn't seem to cost much more than 'cheap business cards' I would rather give out a slightly better quality.

On the receiving of cards, if I get a card that I know was a cheap automated online knock up, I then think the quality of the work that person is selling could also be somewhat suspect.

Therefore, I throw in bin and forget.
