Looking for a graphic Designer to make a Logo

Must have a track record and be realistic in what they charge, not £15 a logo and not £500 a logo
Prefer a independent person who can understand the limits of printing and embroidery as the logo will be embroidered onto uniforms
I assume the person will have looked at our website and understand what we do

You should nag harder. That is the most uncreative website I have ever seen. Who wants their logo created by a company that (looks like) they do statistical analysis on water flow through porous rock under varying geothermal conditions (and whose MD collects toothpicks as a hobby).

What about you try out 99designs.com? The prices are realistic. I have used it before, and you will get good work, if you prepare a good project brief, and give fast and comprehensive feedback to designers.

I can offer identity/branding design services, though I have to admit that while I've designed things to be printed on t-shirts and shrink-wrapped to cars I don't have much experience with my designs being embroidered. I'd be happy to read up on it though and give it a go if you're interested.

My price would be £175 with a two week turnaround (likely much faster).
