Looking for a company name.

Hey all

I hope everyone is well.

I am looking to start up a new business. It is basically a mix between a wedding planning (event organisers) and a wedding directory(contacts to other wedding companies that offer their services).

Can any one help.. i need to think of a company name and then buy a domain..

Its so confusing, i want something a bit futuristic as well not the traditional type of name..

I have been racking my brain for days and cant think of anything.. So i am putting it to the forum.. what do you think..

Hope you can help.

i also need to get a logo designed any suggestions.. Cheap yet effective designers please get in touch..

weddingsdirect or something? I was reading the other day about the importance of your company name and how it should communicate what the company does etc.. I think it was a thread on here actually...

Seriously though. How about something like Making Memories or Lasting Memories (perhaps a bit funeralish). Wonderful Weddings.

It may also come down to what business names, domain names etc. are available.

It's not an easy thing to do... You think of an ideal name and go to register it at Companies House only to find some other bright spark has had the same idea.

The way I came up with mine was to brainstorm different names into Google and the one that came up with the least hits I chose on the basis that it would be easy for clients to find.

But you need to bear in mind, if you're going to be web based, that your url is the first thing Google's going to look at for generic search relevance. And I doubt that that is as popular a search phrase as "Wedding Planners". So you'll need wedding-planner-directory dot whatever, or the like, to ease your path there.

make something that will give you benefits on google, so include the word 'wedding' in there somewhere

that's something we didn't do with our site, adds more work if you ever get round to SEO!
