Hello!

Personally, I have bad credit from some poor life decisions made a couple of years ago in my teens. I'm trying to find a suitable bank account for business that will allow customers to set-up a direct debit, as my business is subscription based and not credit check me. I've been looking at Cashplus but I can't see anywhere on the site that it allows incoming direct debits, only that they can be set-up for outbound.

As far as the account goes, it will be purely debit - I have no need for any credit whatsoever, so I'm not entirely sure why high street banks are declining me but hey ho!

Has anyone had a similar problem in the past? How did you overcome it?

Many thanks,
Sam

The problem will be the incoming direct debits. Effectively they allow you to takes as much money as you choose, as often as you choose, rom other people's bank accounts. Banks tend to prefer people who they allow to do that to be trustworthy.

Can you do subscription through a card subscription service, rather than direct debit?
