Anyone care to comment on my new logo for my company.

The 3 exists because I didnt want to simply say, "outsource three" as a company name, I thought about using 3 as in to the power of 3.

I see. I wonder if maybe having the three in blue or green might make a difference? I think the red made it jump out and made me wonder why it was there!

i presume this logo is to be applied to everything?

make that 3 bigger! its really confusing..i don't know whether to say Outsource or Outsource power of 3 which may mean 3 companies??? or something else.

make it more a part of the name seen as its really important to how you pronounce it.

The logo design has many flaws.
Get it professionally developed by a designer or just use plain type. Either of these will drive the business forward with a decent image.

The globe is used time and time over. Unless you are heavily internationally based then I suggest that you look at another feature to develop from.

nah - nuts they're all mad - don't listen to them - the globe thing's fine, lettering okay, but ditch the red 3, looks like it got stuck on by accident !!

Using the misconception that anybody can design logo's is a bit like saying I can use a blow torch and therefore can install gas central heating. There's more to it than the finished article. So ok, you don't have any leakes, but is the pipework earthed? how will you get rid of air-locks, did you take the U values of each room? Is the flue on the boiler working correctly? and so on.

Bad logos are the start of the downfall of many businesses, it is a flag to how you work, its the amber light that says to potential customers Are these guys the real deal? Get a professional to do it for you...

^ agree - hence why I tell people that by using font type (chosen carefully) is better than trying to be "clever" with a DIY logo done by anyone without any experience - let alone commercial experience.

Vector software. Use bitmap software (Photoshop and the like) only in very rare circumstances. Most amateurs pick up PS first.

I like the two elements allot but they do not gel well together. What I would recommend is incorporating the graphic into the text. Replace one of the two O's in Outsource with the globe and arrow.
