My hubby and I are associated with a company called Merlin Design bureau, they have created some fantastic logos for several companies, and can actually assist in creating more graphics then the logos for companies. One company they helped create a logo for was Duc who are an international company that's just gone big.
They have over 22 years experience in the corporate arena.

I use www.logo-experts.co.uk for all logos they are quick and cheap and top quality . so would recommend them without hesitation .

You can maybe try a logo contest site like www.99designs.co.uk. I recently got a logo designed from a web design company here- www.rockstar-digital.co.uk

he could if he wants to flaff around proving his birth dates and where he lives and what he eats etc waste of time and way overpriced .

good local UK designers wipe the floor with the thrid world cheap logo designers .. back Britain and have the luxury of understanding a telephone conversation as a bonus

I would recommend even adding a post on facebook. Check out other artists and graphic designers and even contact universities and say that a student could get work exp with you if they win. Might help.
