Logo Creation

Hi Guys

Quick question if I may

I have a logo that i have designed on paper. It has my name and I have drawn a new mini character to go with it.

My question is:

How do I get this print ready? All I have is a drawing but i need to place this on my letterheads, marketing etc.

Any thoughts?

If you have access to a scanner I would recommend you email a handful of companies to see how much they would charge to "vectorize" your drawing.

You will then have a copy of your logo that you can use for almost anything.

Hi Adam,

You could try holding a Logo design contest, using your design as a basis. You'll probably end up with something better than you could have imagined.

Two places to hold the contest are:

1. Crowdspring

2. 99 Designs

I'd probably start with Crowdspring as it's a bit easier to use and it feels like they've got more designers on board.

You set the price and only pay the winner. Cool, fun and it works.

Hope this helps.

Got to say Adam that even a scribble on a piece of paper needs to be interpreted by a designer in order to create a logo.

Just redrawing what you have on paper probably won't be enough to make it a credible identity that helps to sell your business and communicate what its all about.
