Hi All,

I'm new on here and am looking for some advice on local networking groups. I run an IT Services company, and have been looking into some local network groups, but I'm not sure if they are worth the time / effort?

If anyone here is a member of one I'd be grateful to hear your experiences!

Thanks

Been to a few and have had some work out of them and some help too. Personaly speaking i find them ok, not great but not rubbish either. Suppose it really depends on what your line of work is. If you get the time to goto one, try it and see what you think.

We have a tool to help you find networking events on near your home, office or near to where you are travelling on business so you can make best use of your time away.

You can find it here.

There is a large networking event on in London tonight, called London Connections, at Lancaster Gate -- details here.

I'll be there showing off WeCanDo.BIZ so if anyone else is going please drop by and say hello.

Let us know how it goes. I went to something similar last year in London and found myself in a room with two other (guests) speed networking with the three organisers.

LOL - let's hope this one's a bit better. From the organiser:

'We have had a good response to these events and you can look forward to making lots of new business contacts.'

Well there were 26 people there - so not bad at all.

I had a positive experience with 5 or 6 good leads to follow up, 1 of them very promising indeed.

Also a chance of teaming up with someone whose business could potentially compliment mine creating an opporchancity to share client lists with each other.

So I'll prolly go to the Worthing one too...
