hiya, I was previously under the name Fray Bentos - I posted a couple of topics down here...but I kept thinking of pies and couldn't concentrate..anyways, just putting a little message out to see if anybody is from the Liverpool/Merseyside area.

I'm in the baby stages of setting up an entertainments production company (doing the business plan and all that jazz) so it would be nice to have a nosy at what everyone else is up to in the area?

Hi I am Local - Warrington infact - and went self employed for the first time back in may working as a freelance graphic designer. I have just joined to start networking more I have come across a few good support sites which helped me. If you havn't already joined try Business Link they let you know all the small business meetings in the area-always usefull. Also if you are after a contact number which looks more professional than your home 08direct.com give you free 0844 numbers with a forwarding and answer phone service. I graduated as a teacher in july this year and can not find a job, i've worked as an IT technician and an IT engineer so when i couldn't find a teaching job setting up myself sounded like a sensible option, i am working in a local pub part time as well.
