I've used a few paid solutions (not remotely hosted ones) and I can honestly say I prefer Live Zilla, and as a bonus, it's free.

This is free for 1 account, 1 line of code for your site, an application installs on your desktop, simples.

You can put the code on multiple websites and when someone comes on it will tell you which site it came from.

Another big vote for LiveZilla !!!

We've been trying several paid solutions in the past two years but LiveZilla is the only tool that really conviced us. We are uisng it currently on 4 websites. And it gets even better from version to version. I would pay for LiveZilla but these guys don't want my money.
