Hi, I would be grateful for any help....I am looking to implement some live sales chat software to my website that will integrate to web analytics and crm software - does anyone have any recommendations?

Many thanks

The best one, which is also free is Comm100. You simply add the live chat button to anywhere you want on your site, then just login to comm100 website and communicate with your customers. You even see who is browsing your website, which page they're looking at, their IP, how they got to your website etc. You can also contact the customers who are browsing before they contact you.

I

I Love Spreadsheets

This is anothe one of those things you have to measure how effective it is and judge from there.

I worked for a very large motor insurance company in Cardiff and we tried to implement live chat and it was a disaster. Enquiries ended up taking three times as long to deal with and with motor insurance that often ended up being a real long time at the keyboard for our customers.

However, for other services I can see it working well. It just depends on what you are selling/providing

I highly recommend you to use Live2Support. It's a famous real time sales chat software for your website. As you compare with other live chat software vendors, Live2Support is available at the lowest price. You can add Live2support with CRM and CMS websites as well.

We have been using Live2Support for about 4 months now, find it pretty good for the most part.

I would look at using it as a way to interact with customers, if you are looking to get them off your back ASAP then you wont keep your customers for long. Chat to them, listen to them, talk to them, don't try and sell to them. A happy experience is a remembered one.... the sales will follow without being forced.

I use stardevelop, its cheap and has unlimited operators. While most places charge you a insane amount of money per operator. Also has built in visitor tracking and a windows program so you dont have to use a web browser. Also intergratable with WHMCS

We've worked with LivePerson on a couple of sites, looks pretty good but not that cheap, from what I hear they are pretty darn good.

If you want a low cost alternative to LivePerson, then Livezilla.net is a good alternative. It comes with a 14-day free trial and for a single operator the one off lifetime licence fee is 63-Euros (approx). Downside is that you have to set it up/ host on your own server space but if you are used to set-up of Magento or OpenCart say, where you have to set-up MySQL first of all, then its a similar/easy install.
