Linnworks Pricing

I have been using linnworks for over a year now, started with local (not available anymore) then moved to anywhere. I consider myself a basic user as I use the basic functions and have not ventured into scripting. Reliability has improved over the past few months which is great, I am not a heavy user though and don't process thousands of orders.
I am on the discounted packages as I moved from anywhere so I am satisfied for the price I pay but one gripe I have is the next level for adding more than 1000 products is 3 times the price. I am halfway there already but I don't fancy paying so much for just additional products.
I would pay extra just for the additional products as I don't need the other bundled extras.

Hi Furman,

Our price plans are as stated and we do not offer any modular pricing.

This being said we do not take any commission from sales completed in Linnworks nor do we cap the amount of sales that can be processed in a day. We also do not charge any extra for each channel that you integrate or its variants with and the same goes for couriers services too. In the last year we have extended our support availability to 24/5 Monday to Friday.

With this in mind we feel our pricing structure is very competitive and allows our customers to grow and expand their business.

Kind Regards

I understand that but for me and some others, it does not make sense to pay 3 times the price just to get more products. Maybe you could create another package in between with the same features as the entry package but with more products. Not going to happen I know.

I think you are right

They need tiered and simple structures
And to look after their business income

But 3 times is far to big a leap - better doubling and doubling

I considered using Linnworks, but with around 1500 products, most of which are relatively low value, the current pricing plans don't seem like very good value for my business. I don't understand why they base their pricing purely on number of products, with no intermediate levels between 1000 and unlimited products. I would have thought it would be better to have a sliding scale and possibly take other factors into account such as the number and value of orders processed.

Hi rjb7,

What Linnworks has tried to do is to be as transparent as possible with their pricing.

The main thing you pay for is the higher level of support, the additional users and the more inventory.

I understand your logic about the number & value of orders coming through but the culture here is that we shouldn't ask a business to pay us more because they are doing well.

They should go for a higher tier plan when they need to because they are growing in size.

I still think £180 per month is cheaper than employing someone.

Give me a PM with your details, SKU amount and anything else that you feel may be necessary and I will see what we can do to help you.

All the best,

I think Linnworks is great (I say that just to be clear...it's not a Linnworks bashing thread!)....but I agree their price tiering really needs revisiting ....IMHO their admin/charging database ought to be able to track many more 'tiers' & then price more appropriately ...this would make the pricing directly proportional to the quantity of products in their customer's database ......more linear (as opposed to logarithmic!)

No one business can and should try to please everyone

You may just have to accept that you do not fall into line with linnworks and try and find an alternative

But it sure does the job well and is developing very well

So make sure that you are factoring this in

As your business grows what becomes important is software that grows with it - and also the right software can help it grow

It is for you to work out but dont fall into the trap of trying to save money on everything

Sometimes it is just best to take the hit

But that depends what you are trying to do with your business

Grow ? Then accept the linnworks cost IMHO and use it to help you - unless thesums really do not work for you

(But I still think they need another tier in there - a tripling is hard to take while growing through it)
