On the face of it £200 per month for integrate the stock levels between a website and Amazon sounds very, very high however given that you are even questioning this and haven't dismissed it out of hand sounds like you at least have the means to pay it. It could be that you have a very large catalogue which you maintain on both platforms and which has elements which make the handling of stock more complex such as variations, split or combo products, etc and that you require realtime updates on each platform so you don't oversell. Even if that is the case I'm not entirely convinced that you couldn't find a cheaper solution that would be equally as good.

You would need explain a whole lot more of the nature of the integration required and the platforms you are integrating, including any intermediary software, before anyone could really tell you whether you are being taken for a ride.

It seems you are not selling the products from your website rather driving the viewers on the Amazon. It will better for you if you sell on your own portal and have a store on Amazon, Shopify and EBay (free store). You can target customers through various channels. £200.00 is certainly a lot of bucks you are spending on just linking the products from your website to Amazon. This can be done easily from the developer's end.

I have all my products selling on my website but alsonhave the same selling on amazon and google shopping.

The way the developers sell this is that the website will be updated when a sales order comes into amazon and will adjust the stock levels to suit.

The system works well but not sure it justifys the 200 a month

But I don't understand why you need to continually pay for this as once it has been integrated, it just works, that's the beauty of it! The only exception to the rule is if you are adding new products every month as that would require an element of manual intervention. if you need any help with this or any other area of your business, please drop me a message.

I'd say that was cheap. Google and Amazon are always adding/removing parameters that you may not know about. Paying £200 per year to forget about this and let someone else worry about it is a good investment in my opinion.
£200 per year is probably about right, but this poster is paying £200 per month, which sounds excessive to me. (Although without knowing the full details it's hard to comment.)

It really depends on what you are selling, how much the product lines change over the month, how many products you have and how often you sell. You have not said what platform/program you are using for your web site.
For example if you have a few thousand SKUs and use magento then look at Linnworks which would cost less than £100 a month and do a whole lot more than just linking products to Amazon.

@kulture You'll not get a few thousand skus on Linnworks for less than £100 as there is sku limit of 1000 on the sub £100 offering. For that you would need to pay £180 which is no real saving if the the developer has built a bespoke system which does exactly what the OP wants. Of course we can only speculate as the OP seems to have decided not to engage.

It sounds a little high per month but it does depend on the ecommerce platform you're using.

If you were using OpenCart it would cost you a maximum of £75 per month:
