Link Building Company

B

BrightSparke

Hello All:

I run a PPC/website design company (adwords-magic.biz) but do not offer a link building service (and don't want to get into this myself).

However, many of my clients are asking if I can provide this and so I'm looking to partner with someone who provides a QUALITY link building service.

Thought I'd found a company, but they let me down on only the second project.

If anyone knows of a QUALITY UK-based company that provides this service I'd be grateful if they could contact me on [email protected].

I understand a UK-based company may outsource aspects of the project to an offshore company, however, the initial research, keyword target list, etc. I want to be done by a local company with a proven track record.

Kind Regards, Peter Astley-Sparke

Peter,

I use a company in India with a UK based owner and have been lucky as they are very good and found them via a blue chip client of mine that they work with. I do all the keyword research and brief them very clearly on what anchor text I want/categories etc etc. I actually do some of their client social media marketing in return (blog seeding, article writing, twitter/facebook club management etc) so works well. There are some good companies on elance with good track records and just like e-bay you are only as good as your last sale so keeps them honest!

Nice little back link for you there Tony ;)
Yes agree with what you are saying and that's why social media seed blogging etc done in the right way is also helpful.
I have people who specialise in various industries who do all that stuff so a beauty blogger for that industry, a football fan for football blogging/commenting etc etc.

Not sure if you are still looking to partner with someone, if so then link building is one of the main services that we provide. We build links ourselves and never outsource.

I am pleased to say that because we've been doing it for years and know how to please the search engines we've had some fantastic results for clients, including top 5 placements on Google for very competitive keywords, such as "buy to let mortgages" and "xxl clothing".

Let me know if you are interested in talking further.

You can find in google with "outsource link building services", I believe you will be able to find lots of companies those are interesting to do link building for you.

I agree with you Nancy but I think people are looking for recommendations in this instance, due to the nature of this part of the industry.

It didn't get covered as much as I expected, actually :(

But it's not completely link bait, I really do believe that link building is never white-hat.

And yes, pointing out that link to my article made it soooo ironic :)

It almost worked as I almost referred to it in another forum... oh well :p

If anything that's done with the search engines in mind is not white hat then that does not leave much left IMHO (title tags, keyword research etc). It would also include your article itself and your post and possibly even your membership of this forum.

What SEO do you consider to be pure white hat?

Would love to know....

On-site optimization IS white-hat (as long as you avoid obvious on-site manipulations). So, proper h and category structure within the site to secure better indexing is totally white-hat and Google even recommends it.

Once you start manipulating other websites in order to make your website rank higher, that's not fair play.

But Toni it's all manipulation on some level, so how is one type OK and another not.

How does this sit with the earlier link through to your article, and your article itself, now not sure whether you are trying to goad me on purpose to get more people to look at your article.

I think you need to clarify what's so unfair about the whole business, perhaps with examples?

It's pretty simple to understand what Google allows you to do and what they don't: satisfy the user.

You can do on-site optimization to ensure search engines can find you, since Google wants to have as much content indexed as possible to serve to their users and make them happy.

Once you start building links on your own, you're having an unfair advantage over your competitors (assuming they do practice white-hat only) and users are getting your site higher in results, while the content they get did not deserve to be there. User gets mad, Google gets mad. User could have been served more relevant and better result instead.

If your content is good, it will eventually get the position it deserves in the search engine rankings naturally. People will link to it.

As explained in the article, links are votes. You can't go around and vote for yourself a lot of times and call it a fair thing (white-hat), because it's not. People need to recognize your website and decide for themselves if they are going to vote for you or not.

    It's dead simple. :)
