    I was just wondering what level of education people have. With 40% of people now going to university, I was curious how many people who run their own companies went to university or what level of education they have.

    I'm completely self taught and just have 3 A-Levels in philosophy, politics and psychology.

    Yes, but are you happy lol!!! Actually, my hubby has a Degree and has to work long shifts to make up the dosh, and I have a couple of O Levels and I'm running my own business and had £40k in the bank before I even started!

    I hope this response doesn't come across the wrong way, but you did ask;

    - BSc (First class honours) in Physics (Wales)
    - PhD in theoretical physics (Wales)
    - MBA (Georgia, US)

    I'm also a member of two national honour societies in the US (membership in which depends on your grade at graduation):

    - Phi Kappa Phi
    - Beta Gamma Sigma

    Very happy, I love my job as I make a differnece to peoples lives on a daily basis. I dont work to hard have a great salary and good perks and still have time to do my art.

    A distinction in RSA level I typing when I was 14..... (That's the only exam I ever took at school!)

    I took a couple of GCSE's for fun when the children were young and got A* in English, Accounts and ..... something else I can't remember :?

    I did manage AAC in my A-Levels, but I actually failed my graphics GCSE. You had to take one of the technologies and I simply cannot draw or produce anything artistic - I just decided sitting down and doing nothing was better than cooking or woodwork.

    Oh, the irony of running a web design company.

    GCSEs, 6
    A-Levels, none
    HND Applied Chemistry
    BSc(hons) chemistry (crap class though)
    City and Guilds 3680 Health and Safety (no big deal)

    PGCE, dropped out
    MSc Chemistry Dropped out. (lost interest)

    Now studying
    MCP
    considering a MSc in something more interesting like IT

    Other than that, not as bright as my wife, she is a medic!

    you better than me, i got the gentlemans third. Then i got diagnosed dyslexic a few years later lol. wooops.
    Its not that i get letters the wrong way round or anything, its that i tend to misread letters and numbers lol and here is me in business. lol
