leafleting

i want to do door to door leafleting for roughly 5,000 households, so i intend on hiring a few people to help me.
is there anywhere where i can get a list of the local area so i can split up the roads between the leafletters? just so they dont deliver twice to the same house and none to 1 area kinda thing...

I would have a look on Google maps at the area you want to target then divide it up using the street names.

google maps can show you all the streets you want.

5000 is around a weeks work for one person.

Have you looked at response rates for direct marketing? if you're lucky you might get 5%, but more than likely to be 1% - 2%, so 5000 might not be enough.

drama is i dont know how many houses are on a single street so i cant know how many leaflets to give to each person...

you give each 1000 leaflets and a map of the streets you want to cover, when they run out give them more.

look at your local council web site for statistics, most electoral wards have around 5000 homes.
