Leaflet design

Good morning

I've just designed an A5 folded leaflet for my online business, to post out to my specific target audience. I'm not the greatest at design, but also not very good at writing about myself or my business/services.

I wondered if it was possible for a few people 'in the know' on here to look at the leaflet and let me know if it's ok/good and/or offer advice before I send it to the printers?

You could post it on here (be prepared for frank comments ), but why not commission a copywriter and designer to get involved in producing it for you.

The investment you would make should be repaid by having a professional product which highlights key messages and benefits and is designed and written with your target audience in mind.

If this one doesn't work then i'd be happy to commission to some professionals to design and copywrite, but as a start up the budget is not massive so i'm going it alone for the time being.

Don't get too many printed, then each time you get them printed you can modify what isn't working. Sometimes you get a light bulb moment after the job had gone to the printers. Printing is so cheap these days.
From a graphics point of view it's a little bland. I would change that image of the computer on the inside and maybe have a stock image of someone happy and smiling using the computer.
Can you put a photo of yourself on the back? A name?
The colours on the front page work better. I would use these as accent colours on the inside as well. Change all those blue icons for a more multi colored look. Too much dark blue is monotonous.

The testimonials may be a little long and small to read. I would shorten them.to a sentence each and make them larger and bolder.


Try the blue text on the back page a bit bolder. It gets lost a little. Maybe try another font as an accent as well here and a few other locations.

Maybe a few bullet points of the obvious advantages of your product. 'Rich in benefits.' What are they?

I feel it needs a stronger 'hook' at the front top - what is the strongest benefit of what you are offering ?

The benefit to your potential customer that will strike a chord with them instantly - enough to bother reading the rest of your leaflet.

Make it big and bold - and move logo to bottom, you are not selling a logo.

You have a second to grab their attention when they pick up the mail.

Colourwise ... the blue is good; professional and in keeping with med services.

I would suggest adding a little more accent to the blue ... perhaps the vibrant lime green you have used on the screencap.

Using a colour palette similar to what the NHS is using would work well by means of association.

Canva is great for businesses and it has drag-and-drop feature and professional layouts to design graphics. There are thousands of layouts to choose from including email, presentations, logos, social media, business cards etc.
