lead managment software

Hi,

I started engineering as a freelancer, I employed somebody last year working from home office, now to having office. The work always came to us, but with plans to grow then I'm looking at getting leads and venturing into marketing.

I'm looking into software to track leads... Can anybody recommend any free software. Or should I use Access database or Excel. All new to me this. Any advice appreciated

Have a look at Zoho CRM. There is a free plan available. It's what I use and combine it with Zoho Sales IQ. You can track when leads hit your website from emails...quite powerful.

I just looked at Zoho. It seems most offer a free version of CRM. I will have a play.

Yes. Lots of people do. It starts to fall down when you want mobility. You can overcome that by storing the SS in the cloud. G-Suite or Office 365.
If you go down the O365 route you can make it even better using SharePoint lists. Easier than creating a SS - see

We use HubSpot. They have a free version and you can always upgrade if you want to. We integrated it with our phone system (RingCentral) via a CTI (Tenfold.com). So far, so good. It's a good lead management system combined with a software that shows all customer data in a single unified view.

Buzzstream is good too. Often used for outreaching to other website owners but not too bad as a prospect management tool either

Use Hubspot if you're not planning on scaling too soon and need the basics.

Alternatively, I too would recommend looking at Zoho which is like the cheaper alternative to Salesforce.

You can try CRM for that purpose. oroCRM for example or any other type.

I personally use Hubspot they have both FREE and paid for versions however if your looking for a serious tool for a large company I would only advise Salesforce
